Guest Bio

 Maggie Collins is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, with a master’s in Public Health, and certifications in Diabetes Education and Lifestyle Medicine. Maggie promotes a holistic lifestyle approach to prevent, manage, or reverse chronic diseases. She currently works as a per diem for the Loma Linda University Medical Center, at the Diabetes Treatment Center as a Dietitian Specialist and Diabetes Educator. Her professional career has also included teaching nutrition education in universities, working as a consultant, writing nutrition-related articles, creating plant-based recipes (along with their nutrition analysis), and performing cooking demonstrations (both virtually and in-person). She has also led hands-on culinary medicine events for medical students and residents at Loma Linda University. She is passionate about promoting an evidence-based plant-based diet by blending education with its practical application through the healthy recipes she shares. Maggie expects to launch her own website in the next couple of months so she can expand her scope of influence in sharing her knowledge, recipes, and client’s experiences.
